Climate-controlled warehouse storage

What this service is

Climate-controlled warehouse storage is for customers who want to pack a portable steel container at home or on a job site, then have SOS move that loaded unit indoors until they need it back. It is not self-storage with a walk-up locker at our warehouse — the container is the unit you load, and warehouse monthly storage applies to qualifying 16′ and 20′ products only.

Who it helps

• Households that need storage between move-out and move-in dates
• Remodels when keeping a container on the driveway is impractical
• Jobs that prefer indoor storage after packing is finished

Prefer to leave the unit at your property instead? See on-site storage.

How it works

1. SOS delivers a portable steel container to your site.
2. You load your contents once (SOS does not load or unload for you).
3. SOS retrieves the loaded container.
4. The loaded container is stored inside our climate-controlled warehouse.
5. When you request it and we confirm, SOS redelivers the unit to your address.

Which units qualify

Warehouse monthly storage is available for 16′ and 20′ portable units. The 24′ mobile office is customer-site only — warehouse monthly storage is not available for that unit.

Warehouse pricing

• 16′: Available on estimate
• 20′: Available on estimate
• 24′ office: Not available for warehouse monthly storage

Pricing depends on unit size, journey type, distance, placement, and timing. Request an estimate for your job. Final pricing and tax are confirmed by SOS.

Warehouse transport, mileage, delivery/pickup, tax, and timing are confirmed on your estimate. An estimate is never a reservation. See pricing for cost drivers.
